On November 5th, 11 Swiss calligraphy lovers came to Kaiping City to exchange calligraphy and experience the unique charm of Qiaoxiang culture. This exchange reflects the popularity of Chinese calligraphy overseas.

The delegation went to the Kaiping City Art Museum to visit the calligraphy exhibition, and exchanged ideas with the representatives of the Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles.

This calligraphy exchange can be successfully carried out, and it is inseparable from the bridge of the head of the exchange group Wang Fei. Wang Fei, a native of Henan, teaches at the East Asian Department of the University of Geneva, Switzerland, and has long been engaged in the teaching and promotion of Chinese calligraphy overseas.

Mr. Wang Fei, head of the Swiss Calligraphy Exchange and the East Asian Department of Calligraphy at the University of Geneva: Every year we come to China to study. They (calligraphy enthusiasts) all have their own professions. Everyone is an expert in their industry. Our team has University professors, architects, judges, lawyers, doctors, and biologists, all kinds of talents, they all like Chinese calligraphy.

Anne, President of the German Teaching and Research Association in Geneva: I really like Chinese calligraphy and painting. I have written calligraphy for many years. I think Chinese calligraphy is very beautiful. I wrote calligraphy in Geneva for nearly 20 years.

Nicholas, an internationally renowned zoologist and former professor of the University of Perni: I have written calligraphy for many years. I think Chinese calligraphy is very harmonious. When writing calligraphy, I can find a balance between body and mind, and my work. There is also a connection. Modern life is very tense. People can't find a kind of inner peace. By writing calligraphy, I can find myself again. I feel that life has another rhythm and another beauty.

The delegation gave a high evaluation of the calligraphy exhibited at the Kaiping City Art Museum.
