The daily travel of the public and the need for students to go to and from school have to cross the highway, and this section is located in a continuous curve. The field of vision is relatively poor, there are many passing vehicles and the speed is fast, traffic accidents occur from time to time, and there is a greater safety hazard.Whenever school is over, in order to ensure the safety of students crossing the road, the teachers of Zhongyuan Primary School will pull up small flags at the intersection to signal passing vehicles to stop and wait for the students to pass quickly.

However, due to the sharp bends on both sides of the intersection, which blocked the view of the vehicle, we were also worried that the vehicle did not slow down in time and the accident occurred. Since last year, Kaiping Highway Affairs Center has closely combined with the practical activities of "I do practical things for the masses", focusing on the needs of the masses, in order to ensure the travel safety of nearby residents and students, to implement the decision-making and deployment of the Jiangmen Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and comprehensively promote systematic prevention and resolution. Taking the road traffic safety risk work as an opportunity, with the strong support of the superior department Jiangmen Highway Affairs Center, a total of 3.64 million yuan was invested to build a pedestrian bridge in this section. The construction of the Lily Overpass was also supported by the local village committee, which provided free land for the implementation of the project. The entire overpass crosses the G325 national highway in a "U" shape. The main girder adopts a prestressed concrete box girder structure, with a length of about 36 meters and a deck width of 3.4 meters. Side protection nets to ensure the safety of pedestrians on the bridge and passing vehicles under the bridge.
