Since the beginning of this year, there have been zero accidents in safety production in the fishery field of Kaiping City.The drill was jointly carried out by the Municipal Agriculture and Rural Bureau, Shuikou Town, Kaiping Maritime Affairs Office, Municipal Public Security Bureau, Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau, Municipal Health and Health Bureau, Municipal Emergency Management Bureau and Municipal Fire Rescue Brigade and other departments. The drill content includes the correct wearing of life jackets, the demonstration of the correct use of fire extinguishers, case warning education, publicity and water emergency rescue drills.

The drill site simulated a sudden fire on the ship, and two fishermen fell into the water. The drillers used fire extinguishers to put out the fire on the ship. The ship fire accident was successfully controlled. The drowning fishermen were rescued and brought ashore safely, and they were immediately treated.

The exercise emphasized that all towns and streets should carry out safety inspections of fishing vessels within their jurisdictions with the highest standards and strictest requirements, and timely rectify hidden dangers.All departments should strengthen linkage, carry out a series of special inspections such as "three no ships", and maintain water safety. Continue to strengthen drills and trainings to enhance the fishermen's ability to respond and self-rescue. In addition, the fishing ban period in the Tanjiang River Basin will end on June 30. All fishing towns and streets should carry out a hidden danger investigation before fishing, and do a good job in the publicity of fishing in accordance with laws and regulations.
