China Adjusting Anti-dumping Tariff on ROK Chemical Products
  • Update:2007-04-28 10:12
China has decided to adjust the anti-dumping tariffs imposed on some of the chemical products madeby a Republic of South Korean (ROK) firm, Toray Saeham Inc., the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC) announced Friday. The anti-dumping tariffs imposed on pet film, a chemical material used mainly in packaging industry, will be adjusted to zero effective beginning Saturday, the ministry said. The MOFTEC began reviewing the anti-dumping case of the ROK firm on Jan. 4, 2002. The ministry then reported its conclusions to the Tariff Policy Commission under the State Council, and made recommendations with regard to the adjustment of the anti-dumping tariffs. The Tariff Policy Commission agreed to adjust the anti-dumping tariffs imposed on some of the pet films made by the ROK firm, butto maintain the tariffs on other types of pet films. The magnetic pet film is chiefly used in the production of audio and video tapes. (All information published in this website is authentic in Chinese. English is provided for reference only. )
